in listening to the body, the breath, in the simplicity and purity of gesture is the essence of dance, a dance is not flashy, a bridge between an inner world, with its landscape of memories and fantasies, and an outer world , chaotic and often too noisy to grasp the significant expression.
today, in fact, it is increasingly difficult to remain silent, everything is sound, noise and perpetual motion that he can never find a moment of waiting, parking, everything happens faster and faster and getting used to the body surface (and
the mind) to return in ever more sophisticated automation and less conscious.
Butoh can open a window on another world, intimate, which involves listening, stillness, waiting, silent, but not only, in which the body is naked, stripped of technical and superstructures listening and silence do not always carry the body to follow physiological pathways and "natural" in the movement and dance, but often "rip" in the discovery of landscapes and interiors were not usual.

Each meeting will be divided into two parts: The first part of
physical training
A second part of technique and dance on images and search around the "motivation and need for an act
explore multiple states body dynamics and energy to gain awareness and presence, and leaving out the poetry of our personal inner landscapes and characters. "
The workshops are open to all, dancers, actors and musicians.
The work is particularly recommended for social workers, educators, teachers, psychologists and educators as it facilitates contact with the creative self by providing deep support for both the act of performing both the report and education / or therapeutic.

"It may be surprising to hear that the Butoh might well be asleep in your body. My job is to find ways to revive that Butoh, that life. I must stress that although the Butoh can be asleep in each, may not be accessible to all. If you can dance Butoh or not depends on whether the body contains the desire, regret, pleasure and interest in life, along with life experiences and memories (the habits of the body are a type of memory). Furthermore, since the Butoh form of expression, it should be be able to prepare and be responsible for this expression. I do not care who sees Butoh as a kind of exotic show of strange and bizarre gestures and movements studying Butoh with the idea to learn the manual way, as Butoh is an ineffable kind of behavior produced by the body itself. Has neither name nor form. Ignore what is already in the body and deal with external aspects of the body is equivalent to harness the body as a means of expression. This is very far from the spirit of Butoh. Those aspects are the ordinary people, people who can share the joy and pain of living. I do not expect the fanatics of Butoh, Butoh as they yearn for originality Nor the rigorous professional dancers, whose pride is hanging on the edge of the conventional technique.
